For the last few months, I have been harassed by a lawyer representing the MPAA. The threat was that BTV be shut down or a lawsuit brought against me and the subscribers. Subscribers don't have to worry, BTV kept no logs. Until last week, they couldn't provide evidence that would hold up in court. But now they can and I have retained a lawyer, which took every cent I had.
Subscribers have two choices: cancel your subscription hrough Paypal, or donate your July payment to help pay for legal bills. I will cancel all subscriptions on July 31st.
It has been a great 5 years (including those at SWC). Everyone has my thanks that supported BTV since the beginning. This is not how I wanted things to end.
